Looking for an IT professional with exceptional people/communication skills and experience with various IT disciplines including, Networking, Help Desk, Windows Desktop OS, Windows Server OS, Microsoft Exchange, VMware, Office 365, Microsoft Office,Network Security, Firewalls, routers and switches, installing and managing hardware and software.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to adapt to different environments as we have many clients in different industries.

The job involves extensive interacting with clients, creating tickets, documenting, troubleshooting and problem solving. This role requires constant communication with clients and with team members. It is important that customers are responded to promptly and professionally. Must be passionate about Information Technology, self-motivated and have a great desire to be challenged and learn new skills.

Technical and Organizational Skills Required:

  • Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, ESXI)
  • Networking Technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP,VLAN)
  • Windows System Administration
  • Must be experienced with RMM tools such as Solarwinds
  • Ability to document all work in detail through a ticketing and billing system
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows Operating systems - Both Server and Workstation
  • Microsoft Office 365 management (advanced support/migrations)
  • GSuite Administration
  • Hardware and Software skills to troubleshoot issues with laptops, desktops, routers, servers, printers, -Firewall configuration and setup (Cisco, Sonicwall, Fortinet)
  • Make recommendations for future upgrades
  • Evaluate and modify system's performance
  • Maintain integrity of the network, servers, and security.
  • Flexible: occasional nights and after hours

Title: MSP Business Development/Account Executive

Reports to: CEO

Responsibilities:

Business Development/Sales

  • Meet target goals on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to achieve goals. Goals are 2 new clients per month, 3 qualified appointments per week. 9 warm leads per week.
  • Investigate, seek out, and contact potential clients who meet our target client profile.
  • Participate in networking organizations, events, trade shows, and other activities and develop relationships with a “Go Giver” mentality.
  • Obtain list of prospects from LinkedIn, business directories, trade magazines, lists, and other avenues to add to prospect list.
  • Meet with prospects to discover needs and pain points that relate to the solutions we can provide.
  • Work with technical and sales teams to engineer solutions, create work plans and proposals.
  • Present proposals and follow up with prospects/clients after delivery to close business.
  • Share client feedback and suggestions with team to improve services.
  • Participate in the development of new product/services and actively promote.
  • Facilitate lunch & learns and other events hosted or sponsored by Micro Visions.

Other Responsibilities

  • Track all sales/marketing opportunities and activities in the CRM.
  • Follow calendar, tickets, tasks, closed loop, and time entry processes.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or related fields, or equivalent experience

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (Office 365)
  • Ability to proficiently use quoting and CRM software
  • Competent user of LinkedIn and other business social media platforms
  • Desired but not mandatory experience with ConnectWise Manage

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance

  • Must be a hunter, able to productively cold-call and network
  • Ability to learn and keep abreast of evolving technology solutions

Experience

  • History of achieving individual and team sales goals
  • Two years of outside sales experience in selling IT services and products, managed IT services, IT consulting or equivalent experience
